I first saw Eleanor's work in a shared photo someone tagged me in, and I stopped scrolling. That almost never happens anymore.

The room in the photograph was a Victorian dining room mid-collapse: the ceiling sagging, one candelabra tipped over, a small mouse perched on the corner of a decaying tablecloth. It was melancholy, specific, and completely alive.

The Broken Room Philosophy

Eleanor calls her aesthetic "the broken room" — spaces that have been abandoned, forgotten, allowed to age without intervention. She is less interested in the pristine show-home miniature and more interested in what a room reveals about time.

On the Work

Each piece takes Eleanor between three and eight months. She sources real aged materials wherever possible — fragments of antique wallpaper, salvaged wood, hand-blown glass beads repurposed as water droplets.

Her work is available as limited-edition prints through her website, and she occasionally sells original pieces.
