When Bromley Craft reached out asking if I would review their new miniature paint set, I said yes before they finished the sentence. I had seen their palette previews and something about the color names alone — Elderflower Cream, Gaslight Amber, Mourning Violet — told me these were not your standard craft store acrylics.

I was right.

Coverage and Consistency

Each color goes on smoothly with excellent opacity. Even Mourning Violet, the most challenging of any deep purple to apply evenly, required only two coats for complete, streak-free coverage.

The Verdict

A near-perfect set. The colors are historically grounded, beautifully named, and perform wonderfully on both wood and plaster miniature surfaces.
